Mobitec at Munich Design Days 2026
The way we want to experience design is changing. Moving away from the quick impression and toward a more conscious experience.
On the Praterinsel, in an open and inspiring environment, we present our new 2025/2026 collection – deliberately in dialogue with design classics that have shaped our brand for years. Not out of nostalgia, but out of conviction.
For us, design does not emerge only in the moment of the new, but in the interplay of development, continuity and experience. We believe the Munich Design Days provide the ideal setting for this: space for encounters, exchange and inspiration – far from traditional trade fair halls.
About us
Since 1990, Mobitec has been developing individually configurable tables and seating furniture for premium interior projects.
From design to materials to colours and finishes – every detail can be adapted. Each piece of furniture is produced only once it is ordered, becoming a tailored solution for its future environment.
Our collections combine European craftsmanship with timeless design, high-quality materials and tangible comfort. Furniture that integrates flexibly into a wide range of spaces – from private interiors to hospitality and contract projects
Design takes time
Chair models such as Knut, Mads, Lotus & Lola, the oval table Blossom and the modular seating bench Thalia & Thalia Modul represent our current design language: clean lines, high comfort and modular freedom. At the same time, series such as Bolero, Dots and Neo show that good design does not age, but gains relevance when it accompanies everyday life for many years.
For us, this is not a contradiction. On the contrary: it is in the interplay of innovation and continuity that the true identity of a brand becomes visible.

Calm, colour and conscious accents
Our staging at the Munich Design Days follows this same idea. A calm, predominantly monochrome colour world forms the framework. It creates clarity, allows forms to stand out and gives materials space. It is complemented by targeted colour accents that bring freshness, lightness and a subtle reference to spring. For us, colour is not a trend, but a way to create atmosphere – used with restraint but with intention.

Furniture for real spaces
What drives us is not the perfect trade fair moment, but the question:
- How do furniture pieces feel in everyday life?
- How can they be adapted, combined and further developed?
- How do they accompany different phases of life?
Our collections are developed with exactly this ambition: flexible solutions for interior professionals that combine design freedom, material variety and long-lasting quality.
